The births of the family of Micajah Clark Sr. were listed in family Bible of Micajah Jr and transcribed by Samuel Moorman in 1832.

Micajah is said to have been a surveyor. He laid off land to Thomas Jefferson. He moved to Campbell Co where he patented 10,000 acres around Lawyers and built Walnut Hill about three miles distrant from there. He lived, died and was buried there.
