Robert Clark
(13 Aug 1738 - 1816)
Married Susannah Henderson, daughter of John Henderson Sr, in 1764.. She was a cousin of Thomas Jefferson. Moved to Bedford Co VA and then Clark Co KY in the mid 1790s. Son James Clark was a Governor of Kentucky.
Robert served in the Revolution as Capt of a Bedford militia unit. He represented Clark Co KY in the Legislature 1797-1801.
