Christopher Clark

Christopher married Mildred "Milly" Terrell in 1757. They received as a wedding gift the 500 acres Christopher Clark [his grandfather] home site in Louisa County. They moved to Wilkes Co GA, which became Elbert Co where Christopher died ca 1803.

A list of Christopher Clark's children is on p. 172 of The Douglas Register.

He served with the Virginia troops in the Revolution and received bounty land for his service.

His will in Elbert Co GA SB A, p.96, ordered his 2000 acres in Kentucky and another tract in Elbert Co GA to be sold to pay debts. Everything then to be divided 12 ways; son Samuel had already died without heirs. Joshua received the land on Broad River including the home when his mother died.
