He is guardian of 3 orphans of Andrew Moorman dec'd - James C., Judith C. & Andrew Moorman Jr. [children of his sister Judith who married Andrew Moorman] Also guardian to the three orphans of his dec'd brother William - Jacob, James & Micajah Clark Junr - inregard to their legacy from the Cheadle family. [William's wife was Judith Woodson Cheadle] Sons Thomas, Micajah, James Velasco, and William Anselm Clark, youngest. James V & William A. to have profits from mills & blacksmith shop. Dau: Elizabeth Cheadle, Judith Woodson Clark, Lucy Fleming Clark & youngest Polly Henrietta Clark. He gave a coat to each of his brothers, Bowling, William Brown, James C. Moorman & Jacob C. Clark. Exec: Bowling, William Brown, nephews James C. Moorman & Jacob C. Clark & two eldest sons Thomas & Micajah when 18 and wife. Wit: Thomas Clark Senr, Manuel Walker, Chiles Moorman, Benjamin Clark. [I do not know the family connection to William Brown unless one of his sisters had a second marriage to William Brown, or if that was the husband of his sister Mourning Clark, or if William Brown could have been a brother-in-law on the Cheadle side of the family.]
