Married Anne Paulett. Another source states that Edward never married. Apparently he had no descendants.

The following deed does show that Anne Paulett did marry as Clark. The witness Isaac Clark is puzzling.

Meriwether's line on one side, and the county line on the other, at the foot of Sugar Loaf Mountain; sd. land devised by said Christopher Clarke to the said Micjah Clarke, his son, for life only, the words of said Christopher's will passing no greater estate to him, although the said Christopher intended as the said Edward Clark is truly sensible, to have devised the fee simple estate of the said land. Thomas Moorman and Rachel, his wife, who is a daughter of the said Christopher, for life only, the words of sd. Christopher's will passing no greater estate to them, although the sd. Christopher intended ( as the sd. Edward is truly sensible) to have devised the fee simple estate of the land Sig. Edward Clark.
