Death
Beecher Zebulon Furr, 68, owner and operator of Furr Feed Store, died Friday. He lived at Rt. 6, Mount Holly Rd. Graveside services were held yesterday at 2:30 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery with Dr. Russell T. Montford, pastor of Dilworth United Methodist Church, officiating. Born Jan 14, 1909, in Mecklenburg County, he was a member of Dilworth United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Queenie Goodrum Furr; one daughter, Mrs. Wilkins Norwood of Greenville, S.C.; four sisters, Mrs. H. L. Brown, Mrs. J. L. Hartsell of Charlotte, Mrs. John Laughlin of Lake Lure, and Mrs. Heath Little of Winston-Salem; four brothers, Boyette Furr, Conrad Furr, and Carol Furr of Charlotte, and J. M.
