Death
Mrs. Catherine Furr Little, 69, of 1856 Runnymeade Road, widow of Floyd Heath Little, died at her home Saturday. She was born in Charlotte February 17, 1913, to Beacham Z. and Carrie Black Furr. She was a member of Ardmore United Methodist Church and the Alma Nunn Sunday School class. She was retired vice president and secretary of X-ray Sales and Service which she and her husband owned. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Cathy Little Simpson of 152 Queensberry Road and Ms. Dianah Boyette Little of Annapolis, Md.; two sons, Conrad H. Little of 214 N. Hawthorne Road and Victor Scott Little of Virginia Beach, Va.; four grandchildren, Heath Edward Simpson, Debbie June Simpson, Catherine Anne Little, and Conrad Barton Little; three sisters, Mrs. John F. Lauglin of Chimney Rock, Mrs. Jackson L. Hartsell and Mrs. Henry L. Brown, both of Charlotte; four brothers, Boyette E. Furr, F. Conrad Furr, and R. Carroll Furr, all of Charlotte, and James M. Furr of Pineville. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Forysth Memorial Park by the Rev. Boyce Huffstetler and the Rev. J. Edwin Carter. Any memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. The body is at Vogler’s Reynolda Road Chapel. The family will be at the home on Runnymeade Road.The Sentinel, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, December 11, 1982
