Notes
Death
T. E. Furr passed away at the home of his son, Ben Furr, with whom he lived Thursday morning of last week. He had been in ill health for the past two years but was able to be up every day, the end coming suddenly that morning when his heart failed to function. His son, Ben, and a daughter from Amarillo, Texas, were with him when the death summons came, two other daughters and four sons coming to attend the funeral services. Mr. Furr was 76 years old, and had been a member of the Primitive Baptist church since early in life. Funeral services were held in the Terral Baptist church conducted by Rev. Bone, pastor of the Methodist church, here, after which interment was in the Terral cemetery.Waurika News-Democrat, Waurika, Oklahoma, February 22, 1929
