Death
Mrs. Jackson Hathcock, who for the past year has made her home with Mrs. John Little, her daughter, at Red Cross, died last Monday morning of heart disease and paralysis. Mrs. Hathcock was about ninety years of age. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Morton, and the body laid to rest in Meadow Creek cemetery. She was a very faithful member of the St. Martins’ Lutheran Church, and was loved by a host or friends. Surviving her are a husband, five children, Mrs. M. H. Little, of Georgeville, Mrs. M. H. Herring of Mission, Mrs. John Little of Oakboro, Dan and Adam Hathcock of Mt. Pleasant and forty-three grand-children and twenty-three great grandchildren.Stanly News and Press, Albemarle, North Carolina, November 5, 1920
