Death
Funeral services for Bennie Lee Furr were conducted Tuesday, March 2, from the Terral Baptist Church with the pastor, the Rev. Walter Haynie, as officiant. Furr, 62, died Sunday afternoon. Born at McKinney, Texas, Furr moved to Terral in 1916 with his father from Hagerman, N. M. His father preceded him in death in 1929. Survivors are the Rev. W. C. Furr of Memphis, Tenn., Mrs. Annie Furr of Amarillo, Texas, and Belle Loar of Paducah, Texas. Five nieces and two nephews also survive.Waurika News-Democrat, Waurika, Oklahoma, March 5, 1959
