Death
CHILDRESS, Tex., May 28 (Special) — Services for Mrs. Maggie Elizabeth Felts, 67, who died early Sunday morning in Childress Hospital, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday from the Kirkland Baptist Church. Rev. U. S. Luck and Dr. Clifton Tennison, both of Childress, will officiate. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery under direction of Newberry Funeral Home of this city. Mrs. Felts, a long-time resident here, had been ill for several months. Mrs. Felts was born Sept. 8, 1888, in Georgeville, S.C., and had lived in Childress County for more than 60 years. She was wife of the late J. M. Felts, pioneer business man and farmer here. Mrs. Felts was a member of the Kirkland Home Demonstration Club and of the Kirkland Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Garland Terrell of Childress; two sisters, Mrs. C. W. Furr, Amarillo, and Mrs. Bert Loar, Paducah, Tex.; two brothers, W. C. Furr, Memphis, Tenn., and Ben Furr, Terrell, Okla.; and two grandchildren.Times Record News, Wichita Falls, Texas, May 29, 1956
