Services Held for Eddie Pederson
Funeral services were held at Faith Lutheran Brethren church in Hendricks on Dec. 9, 1970, for Eddie Pederson, to whom death had come on December 6. Rev. Gordon Solheim officiated and musical numbers included a duet by Mrs. Louise Hinsverk and Mrs. Teddy Mathison at the family service. Mrs. Carl Wahlstrom and Mrs. Harvey Morseth, and Pastor and Mrs. Solheim sang at the 2 p.m. service.
Serving as pallbearers were Eddie Ronning, Adolph Trooien, Kenneth Midtaune, Paul Kvernmo, Mentor Mathison and Adolph Mathison. Burial was in the Hendricks cemetery.
Eddie Pederson was born April 14, 1911 at Hendricks to Christ and Anna Pederson, and was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He was united in marriage with Luella Kvernmo on Sept 2, 1951, by Rev. Peder Lerseth in First Lutheran church. He passed away at the Hendricks hospital on Dec. 6, at the age of 59 years, seven months and 22 days. He lived in the Hendricks area his entire life except for the years spent in the armed forces. Eddie was a veteran of World War II, having spent some time overseas in France and England.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Luella; two brothers: Nels of Minneapolis, MN and Alvin of Hendricks, MN; three sisters, Beulah (Mrs. Alfred Skovly) of Astoria; Mrs. Clara Morseth and Hilda Pederson of Hendricks; eight nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
He will be remembered as a kind and loving husband, brother and uncle.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Alice.
