Death Intervenes After Seventy-Two Years of Happy Married Life.
On last November 24th, Riley Robinson and Rebecca Ann Savilla Mims Robinson observed their seventy-second wedding anniversary, when some one hundred friends and relative gathered at the home near Providence in Beat 16. Similar occasions had been enjoyed on that date during the previous several years. But last Sunday night at five minutes until 12, Almight God, in his infinite wisdom and mercy, saw fit to terminate the union which had proved to be almost three-quarters of a century of happiness together when the latter passed into the Great Beyond. The above picture of the aged couple was made at one of their recent wedding anniversaries. They were one of the most devoted couples ever known and probably held the record in Alabama as enjoying the longest married life together.
