Mrs. J. M. Wyatt
We cannot find the words to express the grief brought on by our recent bereavement in the loss of our mother, but we suppose those who likewise have come to the same sad hour know what it means to have to give up such a dear companion....
Mrs. Phairriba Catherine Wyatt was born in the year 1873, on the 29th day of August, and departed this life on July 13th, 9123, at 9 o'clock. She spent her entire life within a few miles of the place of her birth. Her life has always been a simple, loving, gentle, one. she joined the Baptist Church at Providence when only a girl and has been a constant and tireless worker ever since. She was the oldest daughter of two of the best and most faithful Christian people this county affords, Mr. and Mrs. Riley Robinson.
Mrs. Wyatt has enjoyed fairly good health up to six weeks ago, when she took measles. As soon as she partly recovered from measles she contracted colitis, which lasted about four weeks. All during her sickness she suffered very little, and bore her infirmities with manly patience. she was conscious until a few hours before death and she said several times that she was going to die, but always expressed a complete readiness to go.
The immediate relatives which this good woman leaves behind are husband, James M. Wyatt; two sons, William M. and Thomas E. Wyatt; two daughter, Alice and Edna Wyatt; her aged parents, Mr. & Mrs. Riley Robinson; five brothers, Rev. W. W. Robinson, R. M. Robinson, C. H. Robinson, G. C. Robinson, and John E. Robinson; three sisters, Mrs. W. L. Bates, Mrs. John Bates, and Mrs. T. G. Wyatt. she was the mother of two more children, one girl and one boy, who died in infancy.
Funeral services were conducted at Providence Church in beat 16, Saturday morning at 11 o'clock, Rev. S. J. ezell officiating, assisted by the pastor of the deceased, Rev. E. A. Norris, and Rev. M. J. Parrish.....
