BATES-ROBINSON WEDDING
Mr. W. G. Bates and Miss Iris Robinson were married last Saturday night. The ceremony was pronounced by Rev. W. W. Robinson at his home near Providence, in Beat 16.
Mr. Bates is the son of Mrs. W. L. Bates of Clanton. He has been an employee of Clanton Motors for several years.
His bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Robinson of Union Grove. She has been employed by the Southern Bell Telephone Company in Clanton for quite a while...

Beanie R. Bates, age 95, of Clanton died July 10. A native of Chilton County, born to Riley and Savilla Mims Robinson.
Survivors include one son W. Grady Bates of Clanton; one sister, Mrs. Filey Wyatt of Clanton, and one brother, John E. Robinson also of Clanton.
Services were held July 12 at Providence Beat 13 with M. R. Morris and Rufus Bowman officiating.
