Henry Newton Franklin Mims, age 70, died at the home three miles southeast of Clanton Saturday night at 11:30. Services were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Temple church, conducted by Rev. A. T. Hickman and Rev. Grover Lanston
....Besides the wife, Mrs. Ella Powell Mims, surviving are three sons - C. S., E. V. and L. W. Mims, all of Clanton Rte 2; two daughters - Mrs. Effie Mae Drive and Mrs. Ethel Bell Vines; one brother, J. A. W. Mims; three sisters - Mrs. Delila Baker, Mrs. Eliza (Babe) Baker, Mrs. Virginia Wyatt. There are 14 grand children and two great grandchildren.
