Word has been received that Mrs. Enoch (Belle) Collins, formerly of Harris passed away Dec. 29 at Simi Valley, Calif.

Belle is listed in the 1900 Soundex as Anna I; in the 1905 Minnesota state
census she is listed as Isabelle A; in the 1910 Federal census she is again
listed as Anna I.
The Women's Community Club of Harris was formed in 1928. Among the members
listed in 1930 was Belle Collins, and Sylvia Hawkinson had the part of the Best
Man: Andy Gump, in their 1930 performance of "The Zaner-Gump Wedding".
Belle listed loving children, sewing, crocheting, cooking and what-have-you
as her hobbies. Belle and Enoch farmed near Harris, Minnesota for many years
where
they raised turkeys. They moved to California in the late 1950's where Enoch
died in 1958.
Like her brother, Carl, Belle was known for her good nature and
the love of a good story.
