Death
Funeral rites for Mrs. Truly Estelle Bowers, 28, wife of W. C. Bowers, of Route 1, Charlotte, who died of a heart attack at her home at 10:30 Sunday night, will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Bear Creek church, with the pastor, Rev. B. M, Mills, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Surviving Mrs. Bowers are her husband; four children, Betty Sue, Barbara Ann, Carroll Max and James Curtis Bowers; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Furr of Albemarle Route 4; three sisters, Misses Sarah, Jane, Bertha, and Dora Furr; and four brothers, Shuford, Willie, Allen and Carl Furr. Pallbearers will be Cecil Moose, Earl Harwood, Howell Sides, Roy Bowers, John Bokers, and Claude Rowers.The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North Carolina, November 22, 1938
