Death
ALBEMARLE — William Rufus Furr, 67, Route 3, Albemarle, veteran of World War I and employee of American and Efird Mills, died at 6:35 p. m. Friday in the VA hospital at Fayetteville, following an illness of several months. Funeral will be at 4 p. m. Sunday at Bear Creek Primitive Church, conducted by Elder Jason Eudy and Rev. Roscoe Black, with burial in the church cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Truly Hatley Furr; two sons, Paul G. and Roscoe J. Furr of Route 3, Albemarle; three brothers, Shuford, of Albemarle, Allen, of Route 3, and Carl, of Route 4, Albemarle; and three sisters, Misses Sarah Jane, Bertha and Dora Furr, all of Route 4, Albemarle.The Salisbury Post, Salisbury, North Carolina, July 12, 1964
