Per "The genealogy of the Cleveland and Cleaveland families..etc." by Edmund James Cleveland dated 1899, page 2281-2, found at Heritage Quest Online: Eleazer born 29 Jan 1793 in Colebrook, NH, son of Eleazer Titus and Martha Cleveland, died in Colebrook.
Per "A Genealogical Guide to the Titus Family in North America" by William R. Arthurs, Eleazer Titus was a millwright and carpenter.
1880 census covering his daughter, Ann, showed her parents were born in New Hampshire.
1870 July census shows him as age 77 (born 1793) a retired carpenter who was living with his daughter, Ann (Titus) Johnson, and her family in Brunswick, Essex Co., VT. It shows that New Hampshire was his birth location and he is a US citizen. December 1870 death date is from the William R. Arthurs study. A hand written note by Elviar Titus Spencer shows he died Dec. 16, 1870. The New Hampshire Register of Vital Statistics "Death Index early to 1900" (film 1001111) shows his death in Bath, NH, on 16 Dec. 1870, at age 78, married and a carpenter who's parent were both born in Rhode Island.
1860 census shows him as age 70 (born 1790) living with a Danl H. Dustin 38, his wife Ester 37, Dusin's has 3 sons, all living in Columbia, Coos Co., NH. The relationship he had with these people is unknown.
1850 census shows him living in Columbia, Coos Co., NH age 57 (born 1793) and a carpenter. With him were his son Anson age 18, unnamed son age 16, son Alfred age 11, son William age 9 and daughter Ann age 7 (page 75). All were born in New Hampshire and no wife is shown.
1843-1850 his wife may have died after the birth of their last child in 1843. She is not shown in the 1850 census.
1840 census shows him living in Colebrook, Coos Co., NH age 40-50, a farmer with 3 male children and 2 girl children wife 30-40 (page 239).
1829 marriage year and location is from IGI. 1829 marriage year is also supported by the children's ages and a 1808 birth year for wife, Susan. Per "Titus Family in America" by Dorothy M. Titus dated July 1943, page 5, Eleazer Titus Jr. married Susan Selham of Stewartstown, NH, lived in Colebrook and shows their children.
1816 poll tax for the town on Colebrook shows him taxed on one poll (see "History of Coos Co., NH" by Georgia Drew Merrill dated 1888, page 593).

1800 census for Landaff, Grafton Co., NH shows his father with a family of six childern and a wife, all the correct age. He is shown as one of three male childern ages 10 and under.

During the period of 1786 to 1804, Eleazer's father, Eleazer Titus, was mentioned as an office holder of Surveyor of Highways establishing the birth location for him. Ancestry.com shows his birth as 29 July 1793 in Landaff Twshp, Grafton, NH.
