GEORGE F. BRENIMAN DIED SATURDAY AT RANCH HOME ---Passed Away Early Saturday Following Three Weeks Illness -- Demise Due to PneumoniaSuffering a relapse after having partially recovered from an attack of pneumonia proved fatal to George F. Breniman of Cedar Creek, one of the prominent ranch owners of that region since 1911. Mr. Breniman had passed the crisis in the first attack and was thought to be on the road to recovery, but he suffered a relapse during last week and passed away in the early hours of Saturday morning in spite of all that could be done for him.
Mr. Breniman and his family located here in 1911, coming from Fort Collins. At that time he purchased the Cedar Creek ranch which had since been his home. He was 55 years of age.
He was born in Brooklyn, Iowa. He is survived by his father who lives in Des Moines: his wife and two grown sons, Eugene, who has been living at Parco the past few yars and has recently removed to Laramie, and Paul, who has recently been attending school in Laramie, but who will now assume management of the ranch. Other survivors are one brother, Ernest, who resides in Brooklyn, Iowa, and three sisters, Miss Clara Breniman of Des Moines, Mrs. Ethel LaRosa of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Chas. Connell of Mara Visa, New Mexico.
Mr. Breniman was a highly respected citizen of the valley and his untimely passing is regretted by a large number of friends throughout this section.
The funeral occurred Monday afternoon at the Community church, Rev. Eakins conducting the services, and interment was made in the local cemetery.
