Death
Obituary, paper unknown...Ethel Breniman LaRose died Saturday, Jan 19, in St. Petersburg, Fla. where she had lived since retiring in 1954. Ethel Maude Breniman was born in Lincoln Township November 20, 1890. She was the youngest child of Gottlieb and Barbara Strasser Breniman. Her family moved to Brooklyn in 1900 where she graduated from Brooklyn High School in 1909. She later moved to Des Moines and in 1925 moved to Detroit and worked as a secretary for the Maccabees (Life Insurance Company). She was married to Joseph LaRose who died in 1961.
Also preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers, George and Ernest, four sisters, Florence, Alice, Clara and Mabel. She was buried beside her husband in Memorial Park, St. Petersburg, Fla.
