Jane Ann Petty

(March 18, 1822 - August 14, 1909)

Jane Petty married Samuel Queen and had 9 children. This couple was married in Arkansas before coming to Texas. They settled in Williamson County near the little town of Florence. The Queen family led a very colorful life. Sam Queen was an uncle of J. Frank Norfleet who is well known in Texas history. One of the Queen sons truned outlaw and was killed up on the Red River. Others of the fmily led very peaceful and prosperous lives in and around Georgetown, Texas.
