Individual Details
Sarah "Sally" Poor
(Abt 1760 - Bef 1816)
Sarah Poor married William Britt, Jr. on 21 Sep 1784. She received a slave George, and part of the final distribution of Thomas Poor's estate, as one of his surviving children in 1798.
The name Britt is often spelled as "Brill" in the Goochland deeds. However, there are many instances when t's are not crossed, particularly by the clerk who filled out deed books 15 & 16.
