During the time of the divorce, Sarah was apparently living with one of her sons in Illinois. In 1860, Peter Finn was counted in Crawford Co IL, and John Finn was in Jasper Co IL. By the 1860 census, Sarah was back in Putman Co TN. She did not remarry but lived with daughters.
