Joseph Pippin and Holley, his wife, sold land to Robert Cherry on 3 Jan 1807. She signed by her mark. The deed is in Deed Book 12, p.75 of Edgecombe County NC land records. This is 120 acre tract of land on Bear Island that Joseph's father Solomon sold to him on 17 Jun 1790.
Holley was deceased prior to the 1820 Census.
