Christine Staberg of Lakeland Dies
Mrs. Christine Staberg of Lakeland died Monday morning after a long illness.
She was born in Sweden, Dec. 14, 1864 and came to this country and locality about 75 years ago. She was married to John Staberg Nov. 20, 1886 at Stillwater.
Surviving are her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Clinton Tyler, of Omaha, Neb., Mrs. Max Brunner, Stillwater; Mrs. Evelyn Ermisch, Lakeland; five sons, George, Mankato; Alfred, White Bear Lake; Dan, Minneapolis; John, Dawson, Minn.; Robert of Lakeland; one brother, John Engstrom of Hudson; 27 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Christine Staberg, wife of John Staberg, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. from the Congregational Church at Lakeland. The body will live in state at the church from 1:00 until hour of service. Friends may call at the Jones Funeral Home until noon Wednesday.

Mrs. Christine Staberg of Lakeland, sister of John Engstrom of Hudson, died at her home there on Monday, Sept. 13, after a long illness. She was born in Sweden in 1864 and came to this locality about 75 years ago. She was married to John Staberg on Nov. 20, 1880 at Stillwater. Surviving are her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Clinton Tyler, Mrs. Max Brunner and Mrs. Evelyn Ermisch; five sons, George, Alfred, Dan, John and Robert; one brother, John Engstrom of Hudson; 27 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
