Evelyn Ruth Ermisch, 83, of Lakeland, died Sunday, Aug. 6, at Hudson Memorial Hospital.
She was born Feb. 8, 1906, in Lakeland, the daughter of John and Christine (Engstrom) Staberg.
In 1973 she retired as deputy treasurer of Washington county, Minn.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Beverly Erlitz and Mrs. Allan (Marlene) Bergevin, both of Lakeland; three sons, Carl of Richfield, Minn., Jon of Cheboygan, Mich., and Eugene of Minneapolis; 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Services were Wednesday, Aug. 9, at St. Croix Valley United Methodist Church in Lakeland. Active pallbearers were Joe, Karl and David Ermisch, Michael Rose, Steve Stumpf and Michael Buck, with Bradley Ermish and A. J. Bergevin as honorary pallbearers.
Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery in Lakeland.

The funeral service for Evelun Ruth Ermisch (nee Staberg) of Lakeland was held Aug. 9 in St. Croix Valley United Methodist Church, Lakeland. Mrs. Ermisch, former Washington county deputy treasurer, died Aug. 6 at the age of 83.
Survived by daughters, Beverly Erlitz of Lakeland and Marlene Bergevin and her husband, Allan, of Lakeland; sons, Carl and his wife, Barbara of Richfield; Jon and his wife, Lola Jane, of Cheboygan, Mich.; and Eugene and his wife, Dianne, of Minneapolis; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeland.
The Jones-Bradshaw-Hauge was in charge of arrangements.
