Margaret P. Johnson, 75, of St. Paul, a former Stillwater resident died at St. John's Hospital in St. Paul Saturday, Nov. 4. She was born in Hudson, the daughter of Anton and Anna (Friend) Gartmann. She was married to Carl H. Johnson who died in 1970. Services were at 11 a.m.,
Tuesday, Nov. 7, at the Jones-Bradshaw-Hauge Chapel in Stillwater with
interment at Salem cemetery.

Margaret P. Johnson, 75, of St. Paul, a former Stillwater resident, died at St. John's hospital in St. Paul, Saturday, November 4.
She was born in Hudson, the daughter of Anton and Anna Friend Gartmann.
She was married to Carl H. Johnson who died in 1970.
Services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 7, at the Jones-Bradshaw-Hauge Chapel in Stillwater, with interment at Salem cemetery.
She was the mother of Teresa Sciesinki of St. Paul; Mrs. Howard (Gloria) Bottolfson of Star Prairie; Mrs. Gordon (Evelyn) Green of New Richmond; Donald Johnson of Stillwater; Mrs. Lyle (Diane) thompson of Osceola; Mrs. Alois (Jean) Riedel and Mrs. Harvey (Louise) Sachs, both of St. Paul; Mrs. Dean (Mary) Thompson of Star Prairie; and Mrs. Severe (Margaret) Carufel of St. Paul. There are 22 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. There are two sisters, Theresa Dierks and Augusta Gartmann, both of Hudson.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kathryn.
According to Theresa, Margaret's given name was Margaret Agnes but she preferred to use her confirmation name "Pauline".
