Evelyn Carol Green, 63, of New Richmond, died March 3, 1993, at Maple Manor Nursing Home.
Evelyn was born Dec. 20, 1929, in Stillwater, to Carl and Margaret (Johnson) Gartman. She married Gordon Green on Dec. 8, 1948. She worked as a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Gordon; by her children, David, Yvonne Langress, DuWayne, Ronald, Eugene, Darwin, Gordon Jr., and Carol McDonald; by a brother, Don Johnson; by four sisters, Gloria Bottolfson, Diane Thompson, Mary Thompson and Jean Riddle; by 16 grandchildren and by 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held March 5, 1993, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Richmond with Father Charles J. Murphy officiating. Organist for the ceremony was Barb Peterson with Jeanine Carlson as soloist.
Pallbearers were her children: David, Ronald, Eugene, Darwin, Gordon Jr., Yvonne Langness and Carol McDonald. Interment was in Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were by Cullen-Hegstrom Funeral Home.
