Of interest to this community is the marriage of Miss Kathryn Johnson of St. Paul to Orville Waldroff, sone of Mr. and Mrs. James Waldroff. The cereomony took place Saturday afternoon, November 22 at Salem Lutheran Church in Stillwater, Reverand Kurth officiating. The attendants were Miss Theres Johnson, sister of the bride nd James Waldroff, brother of the bridegroom. In the evening a reception and dance was held at the Stanton town hall. A delicious lunch was served to all guests by the bridegroom's sisters, Mrs. Mark Raboin, Mrs. Joe Schettle nd Mrs. Darrel Wert. Miss Jean Johnson, another sister of the bridge, served the wedding cake.
The mother of the bride is the former Margaret Gartmann who grew to womanhood in the McKinley community and is well known here and in Hudson. The brides' grandmother is Mrs. Anna Gartmann of Hudson.

Mrs. Kathryn Waldorf, 30, of Somerset, died after an extended illness at General Hospital, Madison, on Sunday.
Mrs. Waldorf was born in Stillwater, Minnesota, November 4th, 1931, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Johnson. She married Orville Waldorf, November 22, 1952 at Stillwater. They resided on a farm in the township of Somerset. Surviving are her husband, daughter Debbie, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Johnson of St. Paul, a brother, Donald of St. Paul, and eight sisters: Mrs. Harvey Sachs, Mrs. Ollie Reidel, Mrs. Ben Sciensinski and Miss Jeannie Johnson of St. Paul, Mrs. Howard Bottolfson of Star Prairie, Mrs. Gordon Green of Burkhardt, Mrs. Lyle Thompson of Osceola, and Mrs. Dean Thompson of Nye.
Funeral services are being held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday at Salem Lutheran church, Stillwater. Interment will be at Salem cemetery, Stillwater. Pallbearers are Joseph Schettle, Mark Raboin, Gordon Green, Howard Bottolfson, Ollie Reidel and Bernard Sciensinski.
