Death
DENVER -- Mr. Furr, 75, died January 18, 2008. He was born in Union County, NC on July 22, 1932 to the late Fulton and Miranda Yandle Furr. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at 11:00 AM in the Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112. Entombment will follow in Clingman Memorial Gardens at 2:00 PM in Blacksburg, SC. Max is survived by his loving wife Ruby Wellmon Furr of Denver NC, one daughter Gail Furr Nantz of Lowesville, NC, one brother Donald Boger Furr of Monroe NC, one sister Mildred F. Rushing of Wingate NC, and two grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 23, 2008 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Gordon Funeral & Cremation Service.
