Marriage
Mr. Fulton Furr and Miss E. Miranda Yandle were married Sunday afternoon, January 19th, at 2 o'clock, at the residence of the bride's father, Mr. W. H. Yandle, in Vance township. Esp. S. A. Helms officiated. A large number of friends attended the wedding. Death
INDIAN TRAIL — Mrs. Miranda Ella Furr, 87, died Monday. Funeral is 2 p.m. Wednesday at Union Grove United Methodist Church. Survivors are sons, Harold Furr of Walterboro, S.C., O.D. Furr of Stanley, Henry Furr of Charlotte, Morris Furr of Rockingham, Edward Furr of Monroe, Wade Furr, Max Furr, both of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Don Furr; daughters, Mrs. Madison Bailey of Walterboro, Mrs. Eugene Rushing of Marshville, Mrs. Mary Owens.
