Death
Anne Furr Myers of McKinney, born Nov. 11, 1918, passed away at her home April 9, 2002, at the age of 83. She was a life-long resident of McKinney and a member of First Presbyterian Church of McKinney. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Hugh Myers, and her parents, C.N. and Sarah Elizabeth Furr. She is survived by her sister-in-law Beatrice Johnson Furr of Three Rivers, Tex.; nieces and nephews Zeb Furr of Freer, Tex., Freda Lou Sawyer of Pleasanton, Tex., Jimmy Furr of Durango, Colo,, Sarah Jane Alexander of Albuquerque, N.M., and Jo-An Booth of Three Rivers. Services were held at 10 a.m. April 11 at Pecan Grove Cemetery, Pastor Clay Brantley officiating. Visitation with the family was held Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Belew Funeral Home.The Courier-Gazette, McKinney, Texas, April 11, 2002
