Death
Funeral services for Mrs. C.N. Furr, 1206 E. Greenville who passed away early Friday, will be held in Turrentine - Jackson chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Pecan Grove Cemetery. She had been ill for several months. Mrs. Furr was a native of North Carolina, born January 21, 1876 and was married in 1894 to C.N. Furr. He preceded her in death in 1960. She was the oldest member of the First Presbyterian church at the time of her death. Surviving are three daughters, Mmes. Glenn Keen, Hugh Myers and Dorothy Scarborough of McKinney; two sons, Jack Furr, McKinney; Zeb Furr of Three Rivers; five grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and four brothers; Wick, Charles, Zeb and Prince Goodman, all of North Carolina.
