Death
William (Bill) Furr, 56, passed away at his residence, 1206 East Greenville Street at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday after several months illness. He was a native of McKinney, born September 26, 1906, and for the past 17 years had been an automobile salesman. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. C. N. Furr; three sisters, Mrs. Glenn Keen, Mrs. Dorothy Scarborough and Mrs. Hugh Myers, all of McKinney; four brothers, Grover and Jack, McKinney; Titus Furr, Durango, Colo.; Zeb Furr, Three Rivers. Funeral services were 10 a.m. Friday in Turentine-Jackson Chapel, conducted by Rev. S. P. Riccobene, with interment in Pecan Grove Cemetery.Endnotes
