FORT MILL -- Mr. James Lee Furr, 83, of 10403 Harrisburg Road, died Nov. 17, 2007, at his residence. The funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday at Whitesell Funeral Home of Rock Hill with Rev. Dewey Wise officiating. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park of Charlotte. The family will receive friends from noon until service time Monday at the funeral home.

FORT MILL -- Mr. Furr, 83, of 10403 Harrisburg Road, died November 17, 2007, at his residence. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday at Whitesell Funeral Home of Rock Hill with Rev. Dewey Wise officiating. Burial will follow in Sharon Memorial Park of Charlotte. A native of Pineville, Mr. Furr was a son of the late Albert and Ada Dry Furr. He is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Muriel Williams Furr; three sons, Jimmy Furr of Charlotte, Larry Furr of the home, and Garry Furr and wife Janice of Indian Trail; one brother,Ray Furr of Charlotte; and one sister, Laura Merritt of Charlotte; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Donald Michael Furr, a daughter, Joyce F. Boone and a grandson, Mark Lane Furr.
