Death
R. F. Furr, 48, of 1212 East Thirty-fifth street, died yesterday in a Charlotte hospital. Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at 4 o'clock at Tipton funeral home by Rev. W. W. Jones and Rev. Mr. Black. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. L. F. Brooks, Miss Eudora and Inez Furr, all of Charlotte; two brothers, C. B., and Sylvester Furr of Stanly county; and two sisters, Mrs. Albert Widenhouse of Mount Pleasant, and Mrs. Jason Osborne of Stanly county.The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North Carolina, May 8, 1934
