Death
Mrs. Mary Inez ''Orphan Annie'' Furr Suggs, 73, of 4119 Tillman Rd. died Nov. 29, 1992, at Brian Center. Funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday at McEwen Funeral Home, Charlotte chapel. Burial will be in Sharon Memorial Park. Visitation is 7 to 9 tonight. Mrs. Suggs, a Charlotte native, was a retired Mecklenburg County Social Services social worker and a member of Eastern Hills Baptist Church. Survivors are her daughters, Mrs. Kay Alphin of Greenville, S.C., Mrs. Carol Tinker; sisters, Mrs. Eldora LaFoy of Lancaster, S.C., Mrs. Gladys Brooks; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Memorials may be made to Diabetes Foundation, P.O. Box 11842, Charlotte, N.C. 28209. The family will be at Mrs. Carol Tinker's home, 3808 Seaforth Dr.Obituary published in The Charlotte Observer on Nov. 30, 1992
