STANFIELD — Claude Washington Furr, 74, died Tuesday. Funeral is 2 p.m. Thursday at Philadelphia Baptist Church. Survivors are son, Harold C. Furr of Marshville; daughters Mrs. Ralph Morton of Oakboro, Mrs. Hubert Morton, Mrs. Clifford Mills, Mrs. Charlie Yow; brothers, Clyde Furr, Rufus Furr; sisters, Mrs. Kelly Helms of Monroe, Mrs. Marshall Love, Mrs. Lonnie Huneycutt.
