Death
Mrs. Beulah Furr Huneycutt, 82, sister of Stanly residents, died May 5 at her home in Flint, Michigan. She was the daughter of the late George Franklin and Annie Helms Furr of Stanfield and had lived in Flint most of the time since her marriage. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on May 8 in Flint with burial following in that city. She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Lonnie F. Huneycutt, and Mrs. Marshall J. Love, both of Stanfield, and Mrs. Kelly H. Helms of Monroe; three brothers, Clyde M. Furr and Claude W. Furr of Stanfield and Rufus L. Furr of Oakboro; four daughters, two sons, and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Relatives attending the funeral service were Miss Doris Drye of Oakboro, Clyde M. Furr of Stanfield, Rufus L. Furr of Oakboro and Mrs. Sieg H. Helms of Monroe.Stanly News and Press, Albemarle, North Carolina, May 20, 1975
