Death
Mrs. Nannie Frances Huneycutt, 84, of Route 1, Stanfield, died Sunday morning in Memorial Hospital in Charlotte. She was the daughter of the late James and Veladia Teeter Furr of Stanly County. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Locust Baptist Church of which she was a member. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev. E. W. Pate, pastor, will officiate, assisted by Rev. Eddie Jones. The body was taken home Monday afternoon from Hartsell Funeral Home to remain until taken to the church to lie in state 30 minutes ahead of the rites. Her husband, M. F. Huneycutt, preceded her in death. Surviving are eight sons, Claude H., Pruitt, Roy, Warren and Leonard, all of Locust, Fred of Stanfield, Thaddeus of Concord, Jack of Stanfield; four daughters, Mrs. Ruth Broadway of Locus Mrs. Naomi Faulkenbury of Albemarle, Mrs. Ruby Hartsell and Mrs. Eddie Lee of Locust; two brothers, H. A. Furr and Rich Furr of Locust; and one sister, Mrs. Rose Treece of Concord.Stanly News and Press, Albemarle, North Carolina, July 25, 1967
