Death
Thursday, October 27, 2011 — Warren G. Huneycutt, age 90, of Locust, N.C., passed away on October 24, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center NE, Concord, N.C. There will be a graveside service on Thursday, October 27 at 4 p.m. at First Baptist Church Cemetery, Locust, N.C., officiated by Rev. Kinney Wallace. The family will receive friends in the chapel building, following the service. Mr. Huneycutt was born in Stanly County on January 1, 1921, to the late Millard Filmore Huneycutt and the late Nancy Frances Furr Huneycutt. He is also preceded in death by his son, Dillon Huneycutt; six brothers and five sisters. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Louise Cook Huneycutt, of the home; brothers, Thaddeus Huney-cutt and Jack Huneycutt, both of Locust. Memorials may be made to the Building Fund at First Baptist Church, 320 S. Central Ave., Locust, NC 28097. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Huneycutt family.Endnotes
