Death
CONCORD, — John Pinkley Furr, 87, of Rt. 6, died Tuesday at his home. Funeral was 2 p.m. today at Meadow Creek Primitive Church, where he was a member, with Elder Charles L. Smith officiating. Burial was at the Church. He was a retired farmer. Surviving are sons, John Furr of Rockwell, W.R. and Walter Furr of Stanfield, O.P. Furr of Kannapolis, Fred Furr of Concord; daughters, Mrs. Lena Adams of Stanfield, Mrs. Annie Hurlocker of Greensboro, Mrs. Ruby Dry of Kannapolis, Mrs. Ruth Hurlocker of Mount Pleasant, Miss Berdie Furr of High Point, Miss Bessie Furr of Asheboro, Mrs. Maddie Harvell and Mrs. Liddie Russ of Concord; brothers, Rufus A. Furr of Asheboro, James A.
