MT. PLEASANT - Mrs. Baby Ruth Furr Hurlocker 60 of 1023 Seneca Rd., Mt. Pleasant, NC, died at 8:15 AM Saturday morning, June 12, 1999 at her home. Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Hurlocker at 11:00 AM Tuesday in Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, Concord, NC with Rev. Bill Nix officiating. Interment will be in St. Johns Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 PM Monday at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel; and other times at the home, 1023 Seneca Rd. Mrs. Hurlocker was born May 12, 1939 in Stanly Co., to the late John T. and Eter Lowe Furr. She was the owner and operator of Hurlocker Cleaners. She is survived by her husband, Luther Ray Hurlocker, Sr. of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Luther Ray Hurlocker, III and Lynn Morgan Hurlocker of Concord, NC; brothers, Robert Furr of Locust, NC, Opie Perry Furr of Kannapolis, NC, Fred Furr of Concord, NC; sisters, Mrs. Maddie Howell and Mrs. Liddie Ross, both of Concord, NC, Mrs. Ruby Drye of Kannapolis, NC, Mrs. Birdie Holloman of High Point, NC, Mrs. Annie Hurlocker of Greensboro, NC, and Mrs. Bessie O'Brien of Ashboro, NC. Hartsell Funeral Home, Inc. is serving the family of Mrs. Hurlocker.
