STANFIELD - Mr. Walter Lee Furr 67, retired mechanic, died Jan. 9, 1990, at home. Funeral is 4 p.m. Thursday at Mount Gilead Lutheran Church, Mount Pleasant, N.C. Visitation is 7 to 9 tonight at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle. Survivors are his wife, Christine; daughter, Mrs. Patricia Burleson of Albemarle; brothers, Perry Furr, Fred Furr, both of Concord, Robert Furr; sisters, Mrs. Mattie Harvell, Mrs. Ruby Drye, Mrs. Ruth Hurlocker, all of Concord, Mrs. Liddie Russ of Mount Pleasant, Mrs. Annie Hurlocker of Greensboro, Mrs. Bessie O'Brien of Asheboro, Mrs. Bertia Hollowman of High Point, Mrs. Lena Adams; stepbrothers, Bernard Smith, Harry Smith; stepsister, Mrs. Shirley Furr.
