Death
Furr, Robert — Eighteen year old son of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Furr died Sunday from the effects of measles. His remains were interred in the cemetery at Salem church on Sunday under rites of the Junior Order. He was a splendid young man with promise of a bright future, and his sudden and untimely death occasions profound sorrow among relatives and friends.Stanly News and Press, Albemarle, March 3, 1910
