Per Betty Condon:
Generation 1
Wife of Thomas Condon
Norah Rose Hubbert Condon
Note Spellings: Hubbert, Hubbart, Hubbard, Hubberd

Thomas Condon married Nora Hubbert on 11/18/1884. Nora was born 5/ /1868 and died April 18/1921. Nora was of medium build, weighed about 280# and very headstrong. Nora's family came over from Ireland at the same the as the Condon's, Weis and Coleman families. (The Colemans are cousins to the Condons.)

In 1920, Nora Hubbert Condon went to Rochester, MN for cancer treatment. The bill was $20,000-30,000.

Per Francis Condon: Nora was a kind person and a wonderful mother. She died at the age of 54 years due to internal cancer. Nora had 4 sisters and 1 brother.
One sister, Mary, married a George McPhee and they had 2 sons, George and Frank. Frank was a mail carrier and had 4 boys and 1 girl.
Another sister married Clifford (John) Badger who lived in Spearfish, SD in the Black Hills.
The 3rd sister married a Mr. Wolf.
A brother, John, stayed with his mother until she died. He married a school teacher (Anna Buckley) and they had 1 boy and 1 girl.

Both Nora and Tom spoke with an Irish brogue:
Terlette for toilet
Anyons for onions
When Tom got excited he really spoke with a brogue.

Nora was a very heavy woman like her mother and it was hard for her to get around. She was the mother of 14 children.
=================
Nora's sisters and brother were:
1. Margaret Hubbert McPhee who married George McPhee
2. sister Bessie Mae Hubbert Badger and husband name is Benjamin Badger and they lived in Spearfish, SD in Lawrence County in 1900.
3. Sister married to a Mr. Wolf
4. Brother John F Hubbert who lived with his mother until she died. Then John married Anna Buckley

One of Nora's sisters was thought to have been named Mary or Marie.
Nora's parents were Thomas Hubbert and Mary Flynn Hubbert.

============================================
Nora was a very heavy woman just like her mother and it was hard for her to get around. She just sat most of the time. (I'm not sure if this is correct. She may have been on the heavy side.)
