Vincent Depaul Condon
Vincent DePaul Condon, 57, 1304 Eighth avenue north, died Saturday in Minneapolis University Heart Hospital. He was born Oct 5, 1908 at Clara City, Minn. He married Dorothy Voss in Detroit, Mich., June 6, 1933.
Mr. Condon was in the optical buiness all his life. In 1935 he entered the optical manufacturing business in Detroit, Mich. He came to St Cloud in 1946 and has lived here since, where he was president of the X-Cel Optical Co.
Mr. Condon was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 961.
Surviving are his widow and five children:Mrs. Giles (Carol) Lund, Thomas, Dennis, Michael and Deborah, all of St Cloud. There are six grandchildren. One daughter preceded him in death.
Also surviving are brothers and a sister: Leo, Charles, Benjamin and John, St Cloud; William, Hutchinson; Roy, Elmwood, Wis; and Mrs Clair Lantz, St Cloud.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10am from Holy Angels Church, with burial in Assumption Cemetery.
Friends may call at Williams Funeral Home after 7pm today until time of the funeral.
The family prefers memorials to St Paul's Church.
