In 1860 Census she is living as a tailoress in Boscobel, Grant County, Wisconsin. Living with her are her sister Martha and 17 year old Fidelia Cobb, daughter of William and Lorenda Jones Cobb.
On 11 Nov 1864 while living in Grant County, Wisconsin she is granted guardianship of her nephew Volney A. Brown son of Leland Brown and Fanny Jones Brown. She was granted eight dollars per month from the pension of Leland Brown in support of her guardianship retroactive to 18 Jan 1864 and ending on Volney's sixteenth birthday 1 Aug 1873. On 25 Jul 1866 an additional two dollars per month was added to the pension.
In the 1870 Census she is living with her sisters Martha Jones Delap and Lorenda Jones Carpenter, her neice Texanna Cobb, and her nephew Volney A. Brown in Boscobel, Grant County, Wisconsin.
